A private call is different from a customer who is speaking to nobody else. On GetTheCall, nearby available members can ring together; the first to accept gets the private conversation.

What happens on GetTheCall
- We check a real caller, their emergency, matching local trade and exact address.
- Available nearby members ring. The first to accept connects; the others do not join the conversation.
- You agree the work and price directly. We do not resell that connected conversation.
What you pay for
The standard fee is £80 when you agree a job or visit. No agreement means no Platform Fee, and there is no upfront or monthly charge.
For example: a caller asks for a price but does not book you: no agreed job. They accept an inspection visit: that can be an agreed job even if the inspection finds no repair is needed. The Terms define the billing event.
