Why GetTheCall Exists
GetTheCall exists to do one thing properly: build the first true pay-per-job system made solely for emergency trades, one that plugs straight into a tradesman's working life with as little added complication as humanly possible.
The trades have been sold the same tired model for years, pay monthly, sign a contract, buy "leads" shared with five other people, and hope something sticks. We threw all of that out. No job, no fee: no upfront cost, no contract and no subscription.
A Fairer Deal for Tradespeople
Most lead platforms make money whether you win work or not. We flipped that on its head. Here's what working with GetTheCall actually means:
- £0 upfront. Nothing to pay to get started. Register, get verified and go live without spending a penny, the platform only ever costs you anything once it has earned it.
- No contracts. Pause or stop whenever you like, with a single text. Holidays, illness, a fully booked week. It's entirely your call, with no notice period and no exit fee.
- No monthly fees. We never bill you simply for existing on the platform. There's no subscription to forget about and no standing charge ticking away in the background.
- No job, no fee. We earn in exactly one situation: when a call you answered becomes a confirmed job. If it does not, there is no fee.
- A team that actually cares. We're a small outfit and we like it that way. Real people, real support, and a genuine stake in seeing good tradespeople do well.
What We Stand For
A model is only as good as the principles behind it. These are the lines we hold ourselves to, the things that don't change, even as we grow:
Founded by a Person, Not a Boardroom
GetTheCall was founded by Anthony Audet on 12 September 2025. The idea came from a simple frustration: watching genuinely good tradespeople, the ones who actually pick up the phone at midnight, get squeezed by platforms that charged them whether they won the work or not.
The principle was almost stubborn in its simplicity: a tradesman should never have to pay for a promise. They should only ever pay when a real call converts. Everything GetTheCall does grows out of that one belief, and Anthony still keeps the company small and close enough to the people it serves to make sure it stays true.
